Our People

  • Kirsten Dennison

I have lived in the basin for 37 plus years where we raised our two children. Finance is my background, most recently working in banking and an investment company.

Caring forms a very big part of my values, having done, and still doing, lots of volunteering for various local clubs and organisations. So when given the opportunity to purchase this business helping others, I jumped at the chance.

I feel privileged to be able to spend time with our clients in their space. Everybody has a story, and there’s something to be learned from every experience.

  • Rosie Mackay

I trained as a school dental nurse before travelling overseas for a couple of years, returning home to Dunedin to bring up a family. I have worked in retail, wineries, hospitality plus, in the events and conference sector.

I have lived in Queenstown for over 22 years. I have three children, seven grandchildren and enjoy walking, gardening, cooking, reading and looking for the time to take up golf!

Prior to joining Your Saving Grace, I worked in a similar position in Dunedin. I am empathetic, enjoy meeting people and always want to help those that require a helping hand.

  • Debra March

I have been involved in hospitality for over 30 years before being made redundant due to Covid. Time for a career change from hospitality which has led me to my current caregiver position within the Your Saving Grace team.

I am a compassionate person who knows how to keep a level head during emergencies. I provide numerous ways to make our clients feel comfortable and safe at all times. It’s a privilege to be entrusted with an individual’s wellbeing.

In my spare time I love team sports and the great outdoors.

I gained my Bachelor of Nursing degree in 1999, and during my career have nursed in different areas. Eleven years in ED, fourteen years District nursing, and the past six years working with palliative patients at Hospice Southland.

I joined Your Saving Grace in early 2022 after moving to Clyde. We love the wonderful relaxing lifestyle of biking, boating, walking our dogs, local vineyards and catching up with friends.

We have six children, and 10 beautiful grandchildren all busy in their own lives.

I am so looking forward to the next phase of my life.

  • Kirsten Wormald

I have over 12 years’ experience in care work starting in London then Auckland where I cared for many years for a friend with Alzheimer’s. I also have a background in design, retail and I trained in shiatsu, which is a type of bodywork.

Here in Queenstown I love the beautiful surroundings and spending time with my two teens. I’ve always enjoyed working with people, and find care work and palliative care deeply rewarding.

  • Sue Henderson

I’m a very proud fifth generation Queenstowner and have worked for many years in the customer service industry. I was also self-employed for many years running the local Arrow Express bus service which ran between Arrowtown and Queenstown.

Working for Your Saving Grace represents for me not only the opportunity to personally care for people, which I love, but to share my zest for life and lifestyle living that we all deserve to have.

  • Susie Simms

My grandmother taught me the importance of caring for families, the holistic benefits of plants and herbs, and she instilled a love of nature and outdoor pursuits.

Initially trained as a school dental nurse I went on to study massage therapy, homeopathy, aromatherapy, and reflexology. I also tutored massage, anatomy, and physiology.

I am an avid reader and have traveled widely, tramped, and skied in many parts of our awe-inspiring South Island. My passion is having quality time with my children and friends. I like being outdoors, walking, gardening, embroidery, jigsaws, handcrafts, wood, and stone.

I love being part of the Your Saving Grace team enabling others to live their best lives.
